Research notes
Renamed from Superset: superset.sh and superset-sh/superset both redirect to Paradev, and the homepage says 'Superset is now Paradev'. Unrelated to Apache Superset. The CLI, SDK package and skills still use the superset name, and LICENSE copyright is Superset Inc. License changed very recently: LICENSE.md history shows ELv2 replaced by MIT in commit #9356 ('chore: relicense under MIT', 2026-11-04), so older listings saying Elastic are stale. README states the desktop app is free forever and paid items are optional services. Cloud workspaces are vendor-hosted and in beta. Bring Your Own Cloud runs on your own server and needs a paid plan. Paradev never proxies model calls. Provider routing (OpenRouter, Bedrock, Vertex, Vercel AI Gateway) is documented through environment variables for Claude Code.
