Electron app that runs terminal coding agents as a coordinated office of avatars, with shared memory, messaging and one lead agent you talk to.

GOOD FIT FOR

Talking to one lead agent while others coordinate through shared memory and messaging.

Core features

  • Sandboxed runsNo

The site lists Sandboxes as coming: "Sandboxes on machines we host, so a job keeps running after the lid closes, are coming.". README, changelog and code show no container or OS sandbox for agents today.

  • Event triggers YesSource
  • Team collaboration Partial

Teams connects separate offices so teammates and their agents can message each other. Each person keeps their own office, so no sessions, projects or accounts are shared. The public source still marks this messaging as configuration only.

    Source
  • API / CLI control Partial

The documented webhook API starts work through the orchestrator and reports status. There is no documented way to steer a session from outside, and no CLI or MCP server for control was found.

Research notes

Repo moved: chaitanyagiri/munder-difflin now resolves to HarnessMD/munder-difflin, and the MIT copyright still names Chaitanya Giri. The repo description says laptop, sandboxes or anywhere, but the site lists Sandboxes under Coming and says Cloud Office and the mobile app are coming soon, so deployment is local only. The README's launch notice that Pro is free until 24 October 2026 has expired. The README prices only the $150 annual plan; the site also has $20 for 30 days. Purchases go through harnessmd.com and are final. I could not tell whether Pro features are in the MIT source, because the README describes an open source build and a separate download page. Pro appears to be closed: Stapler, a Pro feature, is absent from the public src apart from one joke line, and the README separates the Pro download from the open source build on GitHub releases. Only the free app is MIT. The README launch offer ended on 2026-10-24.
